I was reading Neville and Millie posting to each other, and (combined with our talk when she was helping me out) it was quite a... revelation. It makes more sense now why she was so defensive about him when we were talking a few days back... I can't say that I'm not dissapointed in a way, but even from where I am I can see how selfish that is.

I must say it is quite cute tho, especially how she seems almost unaware of the situation herself.

I'd say it would make a sweet story, but Millie would probably kill me. She doesn't seem to be the kind to appreciate being called 'sweet'.

I got started on the new book today. Well, started might be a bit much... To be precise I have the title, the theme, and the cover.

The first word is always the hardest part. I look at that blank screen, and try to think of the word. That word has to be just right or else the whole book will go nowhere. And no, 'A, The, and It' don't count.

I tried to start it by drawing a picture this time... I think it reflects what I'm looking for.

http://www.jade.dti.ne.jp/~yuichi/ab_jpg4/ab158j.jpg

Oh yeah, the name. Its Charcoal Feather Federation. I like it

Millie Bulstrode very kindly came on over and helped me move all my stuff into the house. We had a great time too. I hope I didn't drag her mood down too much talking about Kathy, but it was great to have somebody to talk to for once.

Anyways its all set up now, and this place is finally starting to feel like a home.

After she left, I was thinking a while, and I think I'll not put any more work right now into 'Elves in Africa'. All things considered, it seems a bit trite...

So I think I have a concept for a book, and all I need now is a name.

Thank God for Gringotts

Getting housewares for a wizard house is more expensive than I thought. Luckily I don't think Gringotts is cheating me TOO much... But, by Wednesday I understand I'll be set up on the floo network, and today I was able to pick up some household wares and a new broom.

Speaking of that, the new house is a bit out of town so I should have no trouble practicing flying again... On my first flight today, I only fell off once!

So all in all, things are shaping up pretty well, and its nice to finally have something solid to do, instead of sitting around.
